some folks here know me. i've got three hounds, two are coyote hounds [borzoi-greyhounds from california, aged 5 and 4], and dmitri, one of the five stags from florida, who is a 2 1/2 year-old puppy. i recently started seeing a woman with four greyhounds [one was a foster, who has since been placed after a couple years with her]. we are anticipating moving in together in the coming months, and have been getting the brady bunch gang together every now and then.

it's been GREAT! her greys are two females, aged 9 and 6, and a male, also 6. the only one of the six who has done any kind of growling or dissenting has been, of course, mild and meek dmitri, when one of the new dogs sniffed his chew bone. that one time has been the extent of the dissent.

we're having a sleepover with the dogs tonight, i think, or at least another play date this afternoon. what a trip. since i work from home, i'm able to give them attention and otherwise observe them as needed.

my crazy life story just keeps adding chapters. i'll post photos when i get some.

oh, their names: haile, bitsy, and sooner.

Congratulations! How nice to find a sighthound person. I'm happy for you! Good luck with the co-mingling of doggies. biggrin.gif

Yes, another sighthound person and the hounds get along. Doesn't get much better than that. thumbsup.gif

Congrats and good luck! It's nice to have someone who understands the sighthound personality and the human addiction to it.

That is great news.
We recently did the same and also experienced that the merged group does well.

Congratulations.
